WayBack Machine - The Internet Archived !

Sometimes you post some content on the internet and then you regret it, don't you ? Well, increase your pain knowing the WayBack Machine at www.archive.org :).

The site states that they're "building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public". So they let you "browse through 85 billion web pages archived from 1996 to a few months ago" -quotes from the site.

It is quite interesting the web collections that they have though, for example the "historical record of the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina and the massive relief effort which followed".

You can drag this link to your bookmarks toolbar WayBack, once you have the button on your toolbar, whenever you visit a web page you can click on the WayBack button and it will show to you the archived past versions of the page you are browsing, witch is handy and useful.
